The MacArthur Business Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uniting and supporting businesses, other nonprofits, professionals, and the broader community surrounding Long Island MacArthur Airport – better known as The MacArthur Hub – through advocacy, networking, and collaborative efforts. While our primary focus is the Hub (about a 5-mile radius surrounding the airport),we embrace a “One Long Island” philosophy, fostering cooperation among businesses, schools, and residents across Suffolk County & the greater Long Island.

Since its inception in 1994, the Alliance has championed the growth and prosperity of our local business community. Guided by the principles of excellence, integrity, innovation, teamwork, and leadership, we advocate for the improvement of commerce and industry, cultivate meaningful connections, and inform community members on issues of shared importance. By establishing positive and productive partnerships, the MacArthur Business Alliance acts to create a stronger, more vibrant Long Island for all.

Most recently, we have revitalized our efforts – coming up with new ways to engage our community. In May of 2024, we were thrilled to have thrown our first ever Hangarfest! Kicking off our30 th Anniversary in the best way we knew how – a celebration of The MacArthur Hub in a hangar at Long Island MacArthur Airport, proudly partnered with Long Island Stage & supporting a local nonprofit! We promoted all things local – food, beer, live music and most importantly – networking!

Since then, we also had our very first Town Hall, and our largest ever Golf Outing. The MBA experienced Membership Growth of over 157% just in 2024, we are excited to continue on our journey to becoming a bigger & better version of the incredible organization that was founded over 30 years ago.
