Vets Highway Corridor Update

The MacArthur Business Alliance is pleased to welcome Ron Meyer, Commissioner of Planning for the Town of Islip, who will provide us with an update on the ICD (Industrial Corridor District) study. Registration and Networking beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott in Ronkonkoma, followed by a presentation and question and answers with Ron.
The ICD encompasses the business community on and around Vets Highway, and the study was the first step in amending the existing zoning regulations to permit additional service uses. A potential QuickChek and Wendy’s plan will be reviewed, and the Commissioner will be available to answer any questions that you may have regarding the proposed changes to the Corridor.
